The Missing Persons
Wall
by Sean, Cape Elizabeth grade
5
The talking
wall is the missing persons wall when you first step into Wal-Mart. A lot
of people in the immediate community paste missing person pictures there.
They post the missing persons pictures in hopes that somebody will find them
and return The child to the parent. People usually have somewhat of a emotional
reaction to the wall knowing that there are children who canít find
their parents and parents who canít find their children. Most people
do have a emotional reaction to but not everybody does have a emotional reaction
to it. People usually donít really have a strong emotional reaction
but they still do have a emotional reaction to it. This is one wall Iím
glad Iím not part of. I would like to visit it occasionally so if
I see someone on it I can return them to the person looking for them.
Questions to think
about:
1) Do you have something like this in your
area?
2) Have you ever seen a place where there are missing
children pictures posted before?
3) Would you like to help these people?
4) Do you think something like this is important?
Why or Why not?
