ANNIE C. MAGUIRE
By Isabel
and Caroline, Cape
Elizabeth, grade
5
The Annie C. Maguire rock is in Cape
Elizabeth,ME. The community uses the rock to
remember the crash of the ship. The information
shared on the rock is the name of the ship and the date of the shipwreck, which
is Dec.24.1886.The wall started because it was
a mystery why the shipwreck happened and people wanted to remember
it.The wreck was a mystery because it was so
close to a light house, it was a clear day, and there was nothing wrong with
the ship. Tourists notice this rock and read
it and most of them study it a bit before walking
away.
We wouldnít want to be a part
of this wall because we would not want to be in a shipwreck.
