Financial aid is intended to make up the
difference between what your family can afford to pay and what
college costs.
Applying for financial aid is a step-by-step
process that students and parents complete together.
Suggested Steps:
1. Use the website finacial aid calculators
and determine EFC (expected family contribution).
2. Apply for a FAFSA PIN now. This takes
about three weeks.
3. Check Profile Site
4. Complete FAFSA after January 1st.
From
there you
will begin
to plan to pay for your college education. Some Colleges
and Universities require the CSS Financial Aid Profile
in addition to the FAFSA.
Below are the FAFSA and CSS Profile application
links, as well as several other links offering information
about financial aid, and a variety of scholarships and grants.
