Final HSPA Meeting This Friday (NEW DATE), Fri, May 18, 8:15-9:15 am, HS cafeteria. Jeff Shedd will spend a few minutes reviewing the new achievement period.  We will also wrap up the year and welcome feedback on programs for next year! Coffee and light breakfast. All Parents of current 8th graders encouraged to attend.

CELT-Guided 8th Grade Trail Work at Arboretum—Shifts to be scheduled May 31 and June 1, 9-11am and 12-2pm.Kids Need to dress appropriately for working outside clearing brush, etc. Parent Volunteers will be needed; please contact Lisa Fourré <admin@capelandtrust.org>

--Camp Ketcha Adventure Offsite/Substance Abuse Awareness Days:   8th Gr—May 29; 7th Gr-May 31. Noon to 6 pm—Parent session over dinner at 5 pm; need to take kids home at 6 pm.  Sponsored by MSPA, CEEF, Opportunity Alliance, and other local organizations. Focus will be on on substance abuse, as well as providing students opportunities to practice leadership, group-challenge, and decision-making skills on the low-ropes and adventure courses at Camp Ketcha.

--Beach Day Tues June 12 (8th grade to OOB; other grades to local beaches)
