Letter from the Presidents

Dear Parents,

It is crazy what a difference a week can make!  As always the MSPA views itself as a gateway for information between families and the school district.

Many families did not receive the email from Superintendent Wolfrom yesterday.  We contacted out principal about this glitch in the system and a second email was sent today.  In the event you still have not received it you may find it here.  This letter lays out how the next 24 hours will work for retrieving our students' work, tech, and band instruments.  Generally everything can be picked up at the Middle School on Monday, March 16 between 12:30 and 2:30 pm.

Another email was sent out this evening by Superintendent Wolfrom, discussing the health of the school community.  You may find this email here.

The MSPA will continue to be an outlet of information sharing.  We will post updates on our Facebook page, and if we feel there needs to be additional newsletters between today and Mach 30th you will hear from us.

As per a late email on Sunday evening from Principal Eastman, there will be no 5th and 6th distribution of iPads on Monday, March 16. Principal Eastman will be sending an email to all 5th and 6th grades families with the plan on how they will be supporting students and families during the closure.

Also check your emails for a late email from Nurse Jill Young.

If you are not receiving emails from the school or district please check you PowerSchool settings.

Please remember that we are a group of volunteer parents, we do not make policies or procedures.  For all questions regarding school policy or the current school closure we urge you to reach out to school administrators, Principal Troy Eastman and Vice Principal Kyle Morey or Superintendent Donna Wolfrom.

Sincerely,
Heather Reeves and Jennifer Pollick
Co-Presidents

Festival of Curiosity

Friday, June 5, 2020

This year, activities will be in small groups, and students will register for their top picks in April. BUT, we still need a few $250 supporters to help pay for our more expensive programs. Let’s not cancel our jaw-dropping activities because of a lack of funding. Besides, this is an excellent advertising opportunity for sponsors. Your logo will be on our student hand-outs and listed in our Cape Living Magazine article and on posters. And the planning committee will be eternally grateful!
