Night is Falling

CEHS Students Star In New Audio Adventure/Horror Series!

CEHS students Kat Callahan, Swetha Palaniappian, and Macgregor Francis lead the cast of a new audiobook/graphic novel hybrid production NIGHT IS FALLING.

NIGHT IS FALLING is a 10-issue adventure/horror series about a group of neighborhood kids who join forces to take on an ancient vampire in the summer of 1977.

With nods to authors like Maine’s own Stephen King, artist Alysa Avery illustrates the graphic novel, written by Greg Tulonen, while NIF creators and Maine filmmakers Barry and Karen Dodd direct the audio version.

The CEHS students, recording remotely, are learning professional voice acting, which, with social distancing restrictions, has become a major market in entertainment.

CEMS faculty member Alison Hawkes' son, Jackson Harris, is also a cast member, as well as CEHS faculty member Christine Marshall.

The first chapters of the audio version will be released this coming spring.
