4th Grade Band and Chorus Demonstration

On Wednesday, March 11, all 4th graders will watch a CEMS band and chorus demonstration. That day, the results of the instrument suitability assessments as well as a link to an online sign up survey for band and chorus will go home with students. The link will also be emailed home to parents that afternoon. ALL 4th graders who plan to participate in 5th grade band and chorus will need to sign up by March 18.

If you have questions, please contact:
Caitlin Ramsey, 5-8 band: cramsey@capeelizabethschools.org
Emily LeBorgne, 5-8 chorus/classroom music: eleborgne@capeelizabethschools.org

*Please note that in order to have a balanced band, we may need to limit the number of students registered for certain instruments. The sooner you register, the greater the chance that your child will get their first choice of instrument.
Field trip season is upon us!

Class parents and guardians, don't miss out on your chance to attend one of the final volunteer orientation sessions of the school year. Attending a session is a required part of the registration process, and required for all volunteers!

Fundraising Updates

Help the PCPA when you shop at Amazon

Did you know that Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of your eligible purchases to us when you do your shopping at smile.amazon.com?

We received a quarterly donation of $144.40 thanks to parents using AmazonSmile - thanks for supporting the PCPA! AmazonSmile is the same Amazon you know - same products, same prices, same service.

Set the PCPA as your AmazonSmile charity of choice!

The CLYNK Challenge is going strong!

Our school is competing in the CLYNK For Schools Recycling Challenge which takes place between January 21, 2020 - March 20, 2020. Every year, CLYNK and Hannaford Supermarkets team up to reward the schools that make the biggest recycling impact.

Pond Cove is currently in 10th place - so keep up
the good CLYNKIing work!

We can earn an extra $.50 for every dollar in bottle returns during the competition period thanks to a match provided by Hannaford. Take home a CLYNK bag from the lobby or your classroom, fill it with bottles and cans, and drop it off at Hannaford. Every cent raised goes directly to support the CLYNK for Outdoor program. Top performing schools earn cash prizes, and in addition to Hannaford's matching funds.
