The Maine Tennis Hall of Fame recently celebrated the achievements of six outstanding individuals, and one name stood out among the rest: Andy Strout. The Cape Elizabeth High School coach was inducted into the Hall of Fame during a ceremony at The Woodlands Club in Falmouth.
With a career spanning 45 years, Strout's boys and girls teams combined for an astonishing 26 state championships. His winning record speaks for itself: 792 wins and 128 losses. These numbers aren't just stats – they represent the countless hours, sweat, and dedication Strout invested in his athletes and the sport he loves. The Maine Tennis Hall of Fame's recognition of Andy Strout's contributions is a well-deserved honor. We congratulate him on this achievement and celebrate his enduring legacy in Maine tennis.
