The Town of Cape Elizabeth, Maine (“Contracting Authority”) is seeking professional design services of a qualified “Firm” within the meaning of 18 554 CMR Chapter 1 for a feasibility study and conceptual design for the Cape Elizabeth School System. The Firm’s role will be to work with the School Building Advisory Committee (“SBAC”), to develop a plan to either renovate, provide for new construction or devise a renovation/addition scheme for the Contracting Authority’s only Elementary School (Pond Cove Elementary School) and Middle School (Cape Elizabeth Middle School). The plan will be based on the implementation of the school’s educational program and financial feedback from the SBAC. These services will also potentially include some renovations and/or a small addition to the Contracting Authority’s sole High School (Cape Elizabeth High School).

The School Building Advisory Committee (SBAC) of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, is inviting proposals from qualified Communications Consultants with strong municipal communications experience. This initiative is to aid in strategic communications and community outreach, enhancing public understanding and engagement with the SBAC's activities and ongoing building project.
The SBAC is a joint ad hoc advisory committee of the School Board and the Town Council, instituted in March 2023. After a $116 million school bond referendum was rejected in November 2022, the SBAC was formed to construct a pragmatic, cost-effective strategy for meeting Cape Elizabeth's school building needs. A primary objective of the SBAC is to propose a revised referendum by November 2024.

Purpose:
The Cape Elizabeth School department is soliciting a proposal from a painting firm to paint the exposed structural ceiling and attached joists at the High School Gymnasium.

Project Summary: The School Building Advisory Committee in Cape Elizabeth, Maine is seeking proposals from market research and/or public relations firms to conduct a survey of its citizens. The purpose of the survey is to gain a better understanding of the hopes, concerns, motivations, and priorities of citizens regarding our schools and why the school bond proposal was supported or rejected in 2022. The insights gathered from the survey will enable the committee to make informed decisions on how to proceed.
The committee's primary objective is to understand why the bond referendum failed and to use that information to craft future plans that will generate majority support from citizens while meeting the needs of students, educators, families, and the community. The survey will help the committee to gain a deep understanding of the citizens' sentiments and make informed decisions that align with the interests of the community.

The Town of Cape Elizabeth and the Cape Elizabeth (Maine) School Department seek Owner’s Representative services for potential construction projects ranging from renovation to new construction of Pond Cove Elementary School, Cape Elizabeth Middle School, and Cape Elizabeth High School in Cape Elizabeth, Maine. The Cape Elizabeth Town and School is requesting proposals to execute a contract for a Building Automation System Service Contract from a reputable and qualified contractor to ensure that Town and School Buildings are properly maintained and/or repaired to ensure safe and efficient building operations. Services provided include but are not limited to include: upgrading, expanding, installing, modifying, repairing, programming, and commissioning. Contractors must be qualified to support all current and legacy systems for the manufacturer for which they are bidding.
