Along with students from Scarborough and Freeport high schools, CEHS students recently participated in a career exploration day at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester. Through hands-on experiences, students learned about careers related to animal care, vegetable production and greenhouse management, and food science and production. Additionally, Pineland's professionals shared their personal stories of how they arrived at their present careers, and these were particularly impactful for students. It was an engaging, fun, and informative experience! This Extended Learning Opportunity & Pathways experience connects our students’ personal interests with possible future career paths.
