All of Cape’s AP Environmental Science students recently took a trip to Ocean’s Balance, producer of sustainable Maine seaweed products, in Biddeford. Students learned about aquaculture, seaweed’s connection to sustainability, related careers, product development and marketing, and science, research and development related to growing seaweed. Students also sampled different types of seaweed and some of the delicious products!
