The second meeting of the Greater Cape School & Community Alliance was held on 1/6/26 at the Cape Elizabeth Fire Department. Local business, governmental, and nonprofit representatives joined school staff and high school students in an effort to support career and community connected education efforts across the District.
This meeting’s agenda included a networking activity related to job history, an overview of the Pathways Program and related initiatives at both CEMS & CEHS, and a discussion about programmatic needs for the remaining 2025-26 school year. Two more Alliance meetings will be held this year in March and May.
We are seeking additional members to increase collaboration and sharing of professional perspectives - join us! To learn more, including current participant organizations, visit https://www.cape.k12.me.us/page/school-community-alliance.
The Greater Cape School & Community Alliance is an objective of the 2024-2027 Pathways Strategic Plan. CESD’s Pathways Program engages students in relevant, challenging educational experiences that prioritize student voice, develop agency, and create community partnerships.
