Mindfulness for Parents and CaregiversOctober 20, 2021
This virtual introductory 1-hour session is open to any adults who have CESD young people in their lives— parents, educators, youth workers— who want to develop their own understanding of mindfulness in order to support these youth. We will review the basics of mindfulness: what it is/is not, the benefits and research, and how it can help us stay more present and effective with our kids. Short mindfulness practices will be interwoven throughout the experience to bring home. We will also review resources for home practice, and end with some ideas about how to introduce this to the young people in your life.
