Registration is now open for incoming kindergarten students who will matriculate at Pond Cove Elementary School during the 2026-2027 school year. To attend kindergarten at Pond Cove, children must be five years old on or before October 15, 2026. Dec 10 (2026) Reports of technical issues affecting some phone service in the Northeast region were also affecting our schools. The issue appears to be clearing/resolved now.

After months of planning, we finally have the opportunity to move forward with a major facilities upgrade - the complete replacement of the third-grade roof at Pond Cove School.

This marks the first of many planned major capital improvement projects at Pond Cove, now that we have a clear direction for the future of our schools. It’s an important step toward safer, stronger, and more reliable learning spaces for students and staff alike.

With the contractor’s schedule opening up unexpectedly and the school calendar aligning, we have a brief but valuable window to complete the work over the upcoming four-day weekend.

Acting now allows us to complete this critical work before winter - preventing leaks, improving insulation, and marking the start of meaningful investment in Pond Cove’s future.
